2 c. boiling water
2 T. instant tea
6 oz. orange gelatin to hot tea.
20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
2 11 oz. can mandarin oranges(no juice)
1/2 c. or so nuts.
Dissolve instant tea in boiling water
Add orange gelatin to hot tea.
Stir in crushed pineapple with juice, mandarin oranges (no juice), and nuts.
Stir occasionally until consistency of unbeaten egg white. Mold as desired.
Mother was a stickler for people to use good English. A relative of hers would butcher the King’s English. When she’d come to visit, her English would really bother Mother. One time Mother did not want her to come to visit because her English was so bad. (Jean Walker)
